HypnoBirthing

The gentle birth preparation by Marie F. Morgan

“Birth Reborn: What Childbirth Should Be”,

Is the name of the book by Dr Michel Odent, a doctor, obstetrician and major supporters of a natural birth.

As a midwife, with 16 years experience in the delivery room and as hypnotherapist, that’s exactly what I can sign with my own name. A birth can be a traumatic experience for the mother or child, but unfortunately, you cannot turn back the time after birth and start again.
In 2010, I was the first HypnoBirthing instructor in Luxembourg and I quickly realized, how important it is to counteract the fear-tension-pain syndrome described by Grantly Dick-Read, an English gynecologist (1890-1959).

  • Can you relate to that feeling of fear of pregnancy and childbirth?

  • Have you also already heard all these scary stories about childbirth?

  • As a mother-to-be, you wonder how to deal with anxiety and pain?

  • Is it the first time you feel that you no longer have everything under control?

  • Your partner raises the question how he can support you during the pregnancy and birth?

Did you know that:

  • Endorphins are 200 times stronger than morphine?

  • HypnoBirthing babies are calmer and more relaxed?

  • HypnoBirthing mothers don’t have or hardly have the baby blues after birth?

As a midwife and hypnotherapist, it’s my pleasure to support expectant parents. I provide them with my knowledge about the birth process, such as handling the waves (we call the contractions waves) during the birth and how hypnosis can help you to remain relaxed and calm, during pregnancy and childbirth.

If you and your partner want to prepare a gentle birth in a relaxed manner, you have found in me, the right person. I am not going to give you a pain-free birth promise, but I’ll show you methods how to deal with the waves.

Have you had a bad birth experience and you want to be better prepared this time?

The birth of a child is a special experience in the life of a couple. Especially the mother has a perception of how the birth ideally should take place.

But what if the birth doesn’t run as smoothly as expected?
How do you react if the birth is experienced as a trauma? What do you do if you can’t sense your baby luck or you’ve got a dull feeling, because of the whole trauma?

As a midwife I’ve often experienced that from a medical point of view, the birth went well, but the effort, struggle and probably terror of all that happened during the birth sit very deep.
What do you do if the sting of your previous experience sits so deep, that a new pregnancy or birth just seems unbearable?
Suppose you don’t enjoy the baby time and motherhood, just because the negative feelings don’t cease?

Such negative experiences of birth can usually be resolved with 2-3 Wingwave sessions…
